Krama Mukthi - Gradual Liberation of the Soul

Knowledge and meditation aim at the realization of the Supreme Parabrahman / Moksha. Moksha is not the effect or product of knowledge, it is knowledge itself. Moksha is neither a mass of consciousness nor self-consciousness. Moksha is the very life and order of the Universe, ever present, unchanging.

Meditation on the nirguna brahman is the greatest eye-opener. It casts away the veil of maya and the jiva (soul of the meditator) realizes its identity with the brahman. This state of realization is known as Sadyo Mukthi - Immediate Liberation. It happens to very few. The instant illumination is a unique experience. There is no gradual stages in Sadyo Mukthi. It is at once being Brahman.

Then there is Jivan Mukthi, which means liberation when one is still alive. When the gross body of the jivanmuktha dies, the jiva attains Videha Mukthi. The jiva then drops off the subtle body (mind) and leaves the cycle of samsara for good.
The Jivan Muktha is in the highest state of knowledge (Jnana) - the state of self-absorption, non-related and self- identical (I am that I am). There isn't much difference between the jivan muktha and videha muktha, because a jivan muktha is unaware of his body. He still dons a body due to the lingering traces of Prarabda Karma.

Upasana on the saguna brahman also leads to mukthi - but not directly or immediately. When the gross body dies, the jiva (soul) along with the subtle body is led to the brahma loka (the loka of brahma not Brahman), along the deva marga (the path of light). The sense of duality of the jiva continues. The jiva along with its subtle body enjoys the proximity with the saguna brahman, which is now called kaarya brahman/ hiranyagarbha/ prajaapati etc. The jiva that has been to brahma loka does not have to re-enter samsara. This is considered as a step towards final mukthi. So termed Krama Mukthi.

Can we manifest?

Miracles do not break the laws of nature, they are actually based on them.  - GMCKS

Can we manifest things? If we ask this question, 90%  will answer in the negative. Another 8 - 9 %  might oscillate between yes and no. Only 1 - 2% has faith in manifestation.

One day after a group meditation, i had a vision. I saw a house. At that time we were living in a government accommodation . (My husband being a government employee) He had no plans of buying a house in the city. But i was fed up of living in temporary accommodations. I always loved to have a house of my own. Most of my free time was focused on this. On the other hand, my husband had many reasons against owning a home in the city. I was undeterred, and went on dreaming of a place of my own.

Coming back to my vision; following night my husband called me , he wanted to show me something on the PC. He was on a popular Realtor's site. He pointed out to a housing project in the neighborhood. As i was going through it, he picked up the phone and dialed the contact number. No one answered. I thought that was it. But to my great surprise he sent an email to the builder. Next day the manager contacted us. After wards it was a whirlwind of  actions. With a little help from our kin we were able to finalize the deal.

Faith is so simple. It is the ego that casts doubts.

My First Time

It was on 22nd January 2011. With no idea what is in store, i walked into the hall with a friend. There were others too. The teacher was already there. The OM mantra was playing softly. Huge, garlanded photograph of Grand Master Choa Kok Sui presided the proceedings. The aroma of burning incense sticks greeted our nostrils.

With an invocation and prayer the class commenced. The teacher lectured and demonstrated the basics and importance of energy healing, Then he introduced us to guided meditation. We sat in
chairs, in a semicircle around the teacher. We were asked to sit upright with our spine straight and open palms on the chest level. He instructed us to touch the tip of our tongue to the palette and close our eyes. Then he switched on the meditation recorded in the Master's voice.

As instructed, i closed my eyes, keeping the tongue to the palette was a bit tedious. I tried to listen to Master's voice. Random thoughts played hopscotch in my mind. I couldn't sense any movement around me, other than the recorded voice. Is this Meditation? I didn't feel anything different or unusual. Halfway through the meditation, i started worrying. This was not what i expected and to be frank,  i  didn't know  what to expect. So many doubts crept into my mind. Finally i made up my mind. Discreetly, i opened my left eye slightly and watched the others sitting on my left. All were sitting still. I closed my left eye, and opened my right eye slightly and watched the others on my right side. All were sitting still. Then i watched the teacher. He too was sitting still, in deep meditation. I closed my eyes again and tried to emulate the others. This was my first time.

The Purpose of Life

"Arise, Awake and Stop not till the Goal is reached."

          - Swamy Vivekananda.

Each and every living being has a purpose in life. What is it? .......... It is to seek the Para Brahman, The Supreme being. Is it so easy??? ..........not at all. But each life is a step towards the goal.

But there is no compulsion, no time frame. One can take one's own time to start one's pursuit of the Truth. One can start now or a few lifetimes later.

Once the decision is made, one should be like Tennyson's Ulysses and his men: 'To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield.' Here is where Meditation comes to one's aid. It expands one's consciousness.  Every seeker must spend some time to meditate.
